About Swiftdterra
Swiftdterra is based in Malindi, Kenya, and specialises in offshore investment structuring for private clients and small family offices across the region.

Swiftdterra is an offshore investment advisory firm based in Malindi, Kenya. We help private investors, business owners, and family offices in East Africa build, document, and maintain offshore asset structures that are legally compliant, bank-friendly, and aligned with long-term wealth objectives. In practical terms, that means we design holding company and trust arrangements in jurisdictions such as Mauritius, BVI, Cayman, and DIFC; we prepare onboarding files for private banks in Europe, the Gulf, and Asia; we advise on succession and pre-exit planning; and we manage the annual compliance obligations that keep those structures in good standing year after year. Since 2017, we have completed more than 120 structuring engagements and opened accounts at 14 different institutions across six countries. Our clients range from Kenyan entrepreneurs with a single overseas holding company to multi-generational families managing diversified portfolios across three continents. What unites them is the expectation that their offshore arrangements should be transparent enough to discuss openly with their local advisers and solid enough to withstand regulatory scrutiny in any jurisdiction they touch.
Every engagement at Swiftdterra begins with a compliance-first assessment: we map your existing asset positions, identify the disclosure obligations you currently carry, and flag any gaps before any new structure is recommended. This process typically takes two to three weeks and produces a written brief that your legal and tax advisers can review. We operate as advisers and project managers, not as lawyers or licensed tax practitioners. This means we do not give legal opinions, we do not file Kenyan tax returns, and we do not provide investment management services — we are explicit about this boundary with every new client. What we do is coordinate the professional network around a structuring project: the offshore law firm, the registered agent, the relationship manager at the bank, and your local accountant, all working from the same documented plan. Our team of seven includes advisers with backgrounds in international banking, offshore law, and East African regulatory compliance. We are based primarily in Malindi, with periodic client meetings in Nairobi and Mombasa. We work in English and advise on Kenya-specific regulatory considerations as a core part of every engagement, not as an afterthought. Results in offshore structuring depend on factors outside any adviser's control — changes in international tax law, shifts in bank risk appetite, and individual client circumstances all affect outcomes. We do not promise specific financial results, and we encourage every client to maintain ongoing relationships with qualified legal and tax counsel in each relevant jurisdiction.
Our office is on Lamu Road in Malindi. Appointments are preferred; walk-ins are welcome on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
